a. In the summer season, your fan blades should be set to rotate counterclockwise when looking up towards the ceiling. Air is pushed downwards, giving a cooling "wind chill" effect to your skin. The speed controlled by the pulldown chain should be set towards the max to help with the wind chill effect;
